BRAND
Below are some common questions related to our brand
★ We are a premium, sustainable streetwear brand that does not source from sweatshops or manufacture in China or India. Our blank clothing garments are ethically and sustainably produced by trusted suppliers on Turtle island. (CANADA, The USA, MEXICO and other parts of CENTRAL/SOUTH 'AMERICA'.)
★ We design everything in house; we put time and effort into our designs. We print and decorate our apparel at our warehouse using eco-friendly inks and durable, high-quality thread for embroidery. Our brand is not available at your local Walmart discount rack and never will be.
★ Purchasing a storefront during a pandemic did not seem like a good business move, so currently our brand is only available online (or pop-ups and at some partnering stores). We do not have a flagship storefront at this time, our warehouse space is shared, and not accessible by the public for retail (insurance would never allow it).
However we do have plans for a retail location in TORONTO in the near future so stay turned! In the meantime join our newsletter and follow our socials to know when we do popup stalls and temporary pickup locations!
★ YES! If you are a business owner and you wish to carry some of our products in your store, sign up for a wholesale account HERE. Once your business is verified and your account is active, you will be able to login and shop with our specialized wholesale pricing.
★ We believe in trust and transparency; Our operations and limitations are not dictated by colonial borders. We source from several ethical fair-trade suppliers within Turtle Island. (located in Canada, USA, Mexico, and other places in South America). We are working on offering more made-in-Canada options. However, we must source our blanks from both inside and outside the country in order to remain competitive. With that said, we do not source from sweatshops or unethical mega factories in China, Korea, etc.
★ ALL of the products we source arrive at our warehouse blank, we decorate (embroidery/printing) our products in-house at our warehouse.
★ We are actively scouting for MADE IN CANADA textile and clothing manufacturers that offer affordable/reasonable wholesale prices. If you know of any, PLEASE let us know :)
Shipping & Returns
Below are some common questions about shipping, returns, and exchanges
★ We ship our products from our warehouse located in the Greater Toronto Area.
★ If we are experiencing extreme order volume, we may opt to temporarily fulfill orders at backup facilities that are operated by partnering Indigenous print shops. Don’t worry, we maintain good company :). We've made sure the quality, sustainability standards, and fulfillment speed are up to your standards.
★ (Only applies to routed orders during BUSY seasons related to Orange Shirts, or Christmas) If you are ordering during busy seasons, and your order is routed to one of our partners (We have friends in Canada and the USA), it may sometimes originate from the adjacent country (Canada <> USA) Because of this, be prepared for potential duty fees. We try our best to cover these fees for smaller orders, but sometimes we can't, depending on the order size. If you have any questions about this just reach out! hello@resistclothing.ca
How long does shipping take?
★ That depends on a few factors such as your location, shipping carrier, strikes/delays, etc.
If you are located in Canada, shipping will be pretty quick. (5-10 business days, but often sooner); The USA (7-12 business days) and if you are located overseas shipping could take 10 -15+ days to clear customs.
★ Absolutely, if your item arrives damaged or defective we will replace it at no cost to you. Reach out to us at hello@resistclothing.ca to start that process.
★ Due to our environmental commitment, we make every effort to minimize our loose inventory to reduce potential landfill. This means that we print and decorate our apparel only when an order is placed, and we do not keep a lot of excess inventory lying around. So in order for us to exchange, we would need to reprint or re-embroider a brand new garment.
★ Size/colour exchanges are usually not possible and we only make exceptions on a case by case basis.
★ Please refer to our sizing chart for an informed purchase, and if you are unsure, size up! (better to be a little loose, than not fit at all.) Miigwetch! (thank you)
