BEHIND THE DESIGN: The statement "Ensa Bezhik Binoojiinh kchi twaawendaagzi" encapsulated around our design titled "Binesi"; a design Inspired by elements and styles demonstrated by Métis artist Ayla Bouvette and Anishinaabe artist Emily Kewageshig; this design is drawn in a contemporary style featuring woodlands art by our in house Ojibwe digital artist and designer 'Emjee'. It features three children guided by a flyer spirit (Binesi) on their journey to the spirit world. Every purchase supports the orange shirt movement. Proceeds from our orange shirts aid Indigenous-led charities and projects supporting residential school survivors and educating about the legacy of the residential school era.
